Bryana Worthy is nationally certified, currently registered and licensed in Vermont and New Hampshire and holds a BA in Communications from Rider University in New Jersey. She previously worked as an Executive Assistant in nonprofit administration and higher education for 20 years before deciding to pursue a more holistic career and lifestyle in massage therapy.
Bryana (rhymes with 'Diana') moved to Brattleboro, VT in 2008 which prompted her to take a more active role in her health, exploring the many walking and hiking trails with new friends. She graduated from The Massage School in Easthampton, MA in 2015 and has worked hard to build her skill set and body knowledge. Her LMT background has been mainly in spas and gyms and both have provided her with a solid foundation and an expanded proficiency in body work.
Bryana practices what she calls slow-flow massage; a technique where she maintains constant contact while working particular muscle groups using an intuitive kneading and stretching practice that calms the mind and encourages tight muscles and knots to release and allows for deeper tissue work. Bryana takes pride in customizing sessions to each client’s individual need, maintaining a relaxing atmosphere and creating a positive impact on her clients and their sense of wellbeing.
